Lead generation and advertising.

This will just mean that you have to build your list, in time, doing what you do or have decided in your target market and/or action plan. This could be ads in the local paper or a pay per click ads via the internet. It does not mean that you can’t, but you may take a bit longer than most due to the lack of contacts. When you first start out it is hard to know where to invest that hard earned money wisely. Not to mention getting the results from the investment.asking for some monetary reward, is very rare. And to be honest it is no different than a mechanic repairing your car for FREE, you don’t get that in the real word.

But it all comes down to not knowing 4 sure what you’re doing is correct. So called guess work or as I like to call it “Hit and Miss Marketing” will not get you the results that you want.

Paying for leads can be risky not to mention could gobble up those hard earned funds and time. You can contact these people and offer them a service. But with this type of advertising, nothing is guaranteed.
Having these contacts or lists is a massive advantage. The people that already have a list of leads to contact are going to make there way quicker than I would have. On the flip of the coin there are the not so fortunate people, which do not have these massive lists (The Advantage). This was me and I had to do it the hard way, working from scratch and building from the ground up. That’s why I have to say if you are worried about this, no worries mate.

What Im doing on the web continues.

Could be anything along the lines of finding how 2’s or basic instructions on your target market. Some examples are free videos or sample product. This could also be action plans, your targets that you set for yourself, as well as a time frame to obtain those goals. These are all benefits for people just starting out. The key is to not doubt your-self or the program or product you are trying to offer and knowing that what you decided on is going to work first time every time.

The answer is, some do and some don’t, some will and some won’t. Some people have a lot of money and some don’t. Having a lot of money does help with purchases and advertising but if you are spending that money without knowledge of where, then you may as well just give it away. On the other hand some people have massive lists of contacts/members and even pay or sell contacts for you to use. Again if you purchase these leads you will have to know that they come from the right sources and are what we call warm leads.

Finding your feet on the web

But knowing what and where to start in the first place is a big asset. Some people have this knowledge and are able to prioritize and do things in baby steps. Some of us are unable to think like this and require more direction from others. The only downfall to not really knowing what direction to take is that you will take a bit longer than others to get the formula that works for you. I would have liked to be one of the ones that could start a fresh and get things done straight away. But alas I was not one of these people I needed help.

People like me will take a lot longer to get it right, before they start making money. Just starting off getting a website or even trying to choose the right product or service to use can be an issue. The next thing to think about would have to be how to get traffic to your chosen thing, weather it be a website/blog or other. All you will have to do is start advertising for your members and perhaps offer them something to say ‘thanks for coming’. Also you may offer a bonus gift to them, for there patronage.

My experience on the web.

Waiting for someone to call or visit your newsletter or blog/website, has to be the hardest thing I have had to learn. So then you just keep doing what you are doing, if it is right of course. But how do you know what you are doing is the best that you can do in your chosen market.

“Buggered if I know”, I would have said to you. Guess you just have to do it anyway and hope for the best.

Offer yourself and trust in positivity

The only way is up baby, a great song from the seventies it had a great beat and always seemed to get you up. I feel that this was due the feel of the song, ( no kidding you say ). But that is truly the key to get started in the positive ways of the force. Yes, I am into Starwars and the like lol. These things like star wars and Startrek are wonders for the modern era to take hold of and replicate. The ideas and thoughts that are put into these programs are simple ideas but they bring out thought processes in which people are trained to believe in all people are created equal and all have the same rights and priviages. This is truly a positive way for our world, and it seems that some world leaders are putting these thoughts and guildlines into place. Peace and not war are also positive processes.

Even though these things seem foolish to most it may just solve most of our personal problems, lack of money, no work, no significant others to spend time with. May just be our own personal thinking that denotes these negitive action or thoughts to come into play. Would it not be more pleasant for the majority of us to turn those thoughts of negitivity towards positive and channel that to make good and productive things happen in our lives instead of self destructive negitivity.

 

But I digress.

The secret to success.

Finding the right source of traffic and making list of people that are interested in your chosen field in the most important thing for you to be successfull. And believe me when I say I would be know where without other peoples input and expert guidence. These are the people that helped me though these times.

Let the games begin.

Monday had come and we had breakfast. A protein shake and some pills, and headed out to the truck. It looked good nice and clean dad got into the drivers seat and started it up. It fired up first time and that felt great.

We were only 15 minutes away from Harvey Norman and the traffic was light. When we arrived dad backed into the dock and we got out ready for the first day in the saddle. After 15 miniutes of getting there we had our first load of furniture ready for delivery. it was nice to get out and about with dad. After 7 jobs for the day we had been told that was it for the day. We had made $280 for that day. Not to bad, truck used $20 dollars worth of diesal and the rest was dads. $260 for the first day was awesome. Was nice to have that positivity back.

Could not wait until the next day.

Ups and downs

My parents were having some trouble with the house, dad as you may well know had just started another transport business with the truck we got from Sydney. Mum was still doing her three days a week hairdressing and her Herbalife. Things seemed to be going so well, dad said to me one day. Want to come and have a chat to people with me, I need to get some work sorted. ( more door knocking ) yeah I said, why not.

We decided to canvas the local areas first, business that required transport solutions, ie: pickups for customers, and major furniture outlets. a week or two passed still no luck. This was even getting me down watching my family struggle.

We had a sit down and a chat about the finances, there was just to many outstanding expenses for part time work to handle. I started to put all my effort into this and hence my business dropped away. but I was still making some residual income. I decided to go in with my father and help him.

He came back one afternoon from prospecting and stated, with a smile on his face, ” we have work, starting monday at Harvey Norman. Awesome, it was delivering new stock to customers rate was from $35 – $70 dollars a drop. Not to bad as long as they were local.

I could not wait for monday to come, spirts had risen. All we had to do was get up and go. Dad wanted to get the truck sorted ie, maintainance. So we headed down to Gibs trucks and bought the filters and oil for a change. We did this ourselves, as we both had backgound. The truck was ready and so were we, bring it on.
